    Cochrane Victim Services is a not-for-profit organization that provides 24 hour crisis response, support and referral services to victims of crime and tragedy. Cochrane Victim Services works largely alongside the RCMP and is located within the Cochrane detachment. The area served is approximately 4,000 square kilometers, which is home to almost 60,000 year-round residents. This area includes the communities of Cochrane, Morley, Bragg Creek, Redwood Meadows, Springbank, Bearspaw, Glendale, Bottrel and all surrounding areas.

    The Grassland Restoration Forum (GRF) was established in 2006 as a joint effort involving participants from provincial agencies, the ranching community, conservation organizations, First Nations, industry representatives, plant ecologists, and reclamation practitioners in Alberta. GRF is dedicated to advancing the preservation and revitalization of native grasslands, achieved through educational initiatives, outreach programs, and research aimed at enhancing reclamation practices and nurturing stewardship.

    Habitat for Humanity Camrose builds decent, simple and affordable homes in partnership with families and the community. Habitat Camrose was formed in 1996 and to date has built 24 homes. Recently, Camrose Energy installed solar panels on the roof of the Camrose ReStore, which will help reduce the ReStore’s monthly power bills, enabling Habitat for Humanity to divert more funds toward its programming.
