Join Alberta’s biggest solar community
We are not your typical large, faceless corporate utilities provider. We are a small and efficient business focused on providing a unique alternative to the "big four." To us, you’re more than just an account number.
We are proudly 100% Indigenous and BIPOC-owned, with a focus on making your utility service a more personal and human experience. The name "Peyakoskan" holds deep meaning, representing unity as a Cree word for "one nation, one village, one tribe." Founded by Randall Benson and Corey James, we chose this name because it represented what we wanted the company to represent: a community working as one for the benefit of all.

Trade Winds to Success
Trade Winds began with the desire to address the under-employment of Indigenous Albertans and meet the growing need for skilled trades. Their vision is to create opportunities for Indigenous people in Alberta by providing high-quality pre-trades training in the construction trades. Trade Winds doesn’t just train students; they change lives and help build futures.Supported by Peyakoskan Energy
